Candidates should possess the following-
- LGV C+E Licence
- CPC
- DIGI Car
- Good driving record – no more than 3 points on licence
- Good communication skills
- Previous experience within a similar driving role is desirable but not essential, if you are willing to learn and have an eagerness to progress then this is the ideal role for you! Tarmac gives an extensive 2 week training period, focusing on safety and development.
The role is based in Tunstead, Buxton in Derbyshire and would be commutable from all surrounding areas, our client is situated close to public transportation links, parking facilities are available for staff, a canteen facility is available for all staff use.
Hours of Work: 3 weeks of mornings, 1 week of nights. Start times will vary and hours will too, but will be a total of 48 hours a week.
Rates of Pay - £TBC per day Premium, inclusive of holiday (As you are on a 12 month contract, this matches a Tarmac driver salary which can be anything from £34,590.65 to £37,930.55 per annum depending on overtime worked on weekends)
Overtime Available on weekends at an great increased rate, for example, if you work 9 hours on a Sunday you would earn £212.82 on top!!!
