We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commissioning Technician with a strong electrical bias to support Major Component Exchange (MCE) operations on wind turbines across Europe. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about renewable energy and skilled in electrical commissioning, diagnostics, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning and testing of electrical systems during MCE operations on wind turbines.
- Performing electrical diagnostics, fault finding, and resolution during component replacement.
- Ensuring all systems meet operational, safety, and compliance standards.
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth execution of MCE procedures.
- Completing detailed commissioning reports and documentation.
- Adhering strictly to site-specific safety protocols and industry regulations.
Essential Requirements:
- Electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Proven experience in electrical commissioning within the wind energy sector.
- Strong understanding of turbine electrical systems and high-voltage components.
- All valid GWO certifications are mandatory (Working at Heights, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, etc.).
- Ability to work in remote locations and adapt to changing site conditions.
- EU work eligibility and valid driving licence.
