NRL is currently recruiting a Commissioning Manager to join one of our leading clients in their Nuclear Power Engineering and Technical Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-performing project team within a critical sector, supporting the delivery of complex engineering works on a key site within the UK’s nuclear fleet.

 

Role- Commissioning Manager

Location- Seascale

Rate- £70-£75.00 per hour (Outside IR35)

 

Key Responsibilities




  • Manage and influence complex commissioning work-scopes
  • Utilize advanced commissioning management techniques across multi-functional organizations
  • Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and CDM regulations
  • Use reporting tools covering estimating, scheduling, programming, reports and risk analysis & earned value tools
  • Ideally hold formal trade qualifications with demonstrable experience in the commissioning discipline.
  • Ideally you will be qualified to HNC or higher but relevant experience can be held in lieu of qualifications.
  • Cultivate stakeholder relationships at all levels
  • Thrive on a challenge
You will be ‘mobile’ with the ability to travel and work at site when necessary. Where possible we will employ a hybrid working arrangement to ensure you achieve the best possible work/life

Key Skills & Attributes




  • Wide range of experience in Commissioning Management in a highly regulated & safety focused organization, ideally in Nuclear, Defence, Water, MOD, Rail, Pharmaceutic etc.
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • APMP formal project management qualification or equivalent
  • Confident, professional and driven
  • Robust and resilient nature
Qualifications / Accreditations




  • Degree or HNC in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • BPSS/SC Cleared or ability to achieve this
