Cost Engineers & Senior Cost Engineers

Permanent Roles | Nuclear Sector | Sizewell B

We’re hiring Cost Engineers and Senior Cost Engineers to join a high-performing team supporting a major nuclear framework. These are permanent roles based at Sizewell B Power Station, where you’ll be embedded in the heart of project delivery—monitoring, controlling, and forecasting costs across the full lifecycle.

You’ll work directly with the client, influencing decisions and driving performance. You’ll be the go-to for intelligent analysis, earned value insights, and financial clarity. Senior roles offer added scope—mentoring, leading, and shaping how cost engineering is delivered across a complex portfolio.

What you’ll bring:
  • HNC/HND or equivalent experience in a cost-related discipline (MACostE desirable)
  • Strong grasp of project lifecycles—engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning
  • Experience with SAP, Primavera, and cost/risk tools
  • Ability to communicate clearly and influence at all levels
  • A collaborative mindset and a sharp eye for detail
What’s in it for you:
  • Permanent position with long-term career development
  • Flexible working options (hybrid, part-time, negotiable hours)
  • A culture that values safety, integrity, and inclusion
  • Competitive package including medical cover, enhanced parental leave, and professional development support
You’ll be part of a team that’s helping deliver the UK’s Net Zero future—keeping stations running, supporting decommissioning, and driving innovation across the nuclear fleet.

If you’re ready to make cost engineering a strategic advantage—and want to be part of something that matters—this is your moment.
