NRL are currently recruiting on behalf of an engineering consultancy that is currently supporting the Lower Thames Crossing project. They are looking for 2 Application Production Managers for work on a 6 month contract basis initially. The office’s are typically based in Aldgate, London, with remote working currently being implemented.

About the role:
  • Maintain the DCO deliverables production programme;
  • Work closely with the DCO Production Manager(s), the DCO Application PM, Project Controls, Document Control and Graphic Design teams as/when required
  • Build relationships with deliverables Owners, Authors and Reviewers
  • Ensure the appropriate Assurance process is followed at all deliverables production stages
  • Coordinate with Authors and Reviewers to ensure documents’ status sheets/comment sheets are kept up to date and reflect the audit for governance and review processes
  • Build an interactive deliverables production tracker (excel and / or Power BI) as one of the main tools to manage the production and delivery of the DCO products
  • Generate automated reporting dashboards
  • Prepare visual management outputs to allow for the efficient identification and management of production risks and blockers as appropriate
  • Produce training material on how to use the deliverables tracker to support the consistent and correct application and implementation of the tool by the project team
  • Support Reviewers to plan their resourcing
What you will need:
  • Management of production of a large volume of documents to tight schedules
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully working in/adapting the philosophy of a ‘One Team’ environment
  • Lean Production Management skills (Last Planner System, Collaborative Planning, Visual Management, etc)
  • Excellent skills in documentation and reporting a complex content in plain English
  • Examples of exercising sound judgement, leading and facilitating decision making on complex issues among multiple parties
  • To be able to work across diverse stakeholder
