NRL are currently recruiting for a Document Controller in Devonport Plymouth working as part of a small team in a project-based environment.  This role will be based both onsite and off-site. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a valued team where no two days are the same. A positive and pro-active approach is essential for this role

Role Responsibilities:
The role will be working for Project Managers and their teams to provide administrative and document controller support to the various projects within 8 Dk.

General duties will include but are not limited to:-

  • Assisting with project information/data packs for the teams

  • Uploading documents to Vault/CDMS incl. populating the metadata

  • Collating documents associated with packages for communication to signatories for sign off and latterly upload to records

  • Management of various records

  • Supporting the Project Manager with progressing the coordination of handover documentation for sign off by signatories

  • Diary management as and when required

  • General administrative support to the various teams

  • Arranging travel as and when required

  • Archiving documents – paper and electronic

  • Ensure procedural documentation remains in date and valid


Role Requirements:

  • Knowledge of company procedures within an office environment

  • Excellent MS office skills

  • Effective written and verbal skills

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Time management skills

  • Effective decision making/problem solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Required:

  • GCSE in English and Maths at grade C or equivalent

  • NVQ L2 in Business and Administration or equivalent
