Our client require a highly motivated Electrical and instrumentation draughtsman to assist with an increase in our project workload. The projects we are involved with are fast track, high demand projects.
The successful applicant will be well versed in AutoCAD (Release 2005 or greater is a preference) and have the following:
A recognised time served engineering apprenticeship
Qualifications, HNC standard or equivalent.
Ability to use AutoCAD (versions up to 2015, primarily 2005) to a high standard.
Ability to produce Instrumentation Loops (Hook-Ups) from engineers hand marked drawings.
Ability to site check, mark-up and amend Instrumentation drawings.
Ability to produce electrical schematics from engineers hand marked drawings.
Ability to produce panel cut out drawings, containment drawings, and site layouts showing routes of cable / cable containment.
Knowledge of Engineering Document Management systems and their use within a busy engineering department.
Have the ability to work as part of a fast paced team.
Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to work unsupervised on a pharmaceutical plant.
Awareness of safety related issues in pharmaceutical / chemical plant environment.
All candidates may be asked to complete a short (15-20 min) AutoCAD test and interview.
PAYE Rate £24.00
Umbrella Rate £28.15
