NRL are currently recruiting for a leading electrical wholesaler and bespoke switchboard manufacturer serving industries across the UK, Ireland and throughout Europe. Their extensive range of bespoke services for commercial sectors include: Electrical design builds; LV Distribution Switchboards; Panel Boards; PDUs and Power Factor Correction.


We are looking to speak with Electrical Estimators for this role Based in the North East of England. A full time, permanent position.

 

The Job

As an Electrical Estimator, you will be working with our estimators, engineers and managers, providing tendering support.
 
  • Prepare detailed quotations from customer supplied drawings, schedules, and specifications for range of LV Distribution equipment.
  • Keep existing quotations up to date, as and when new information is provided communicating any changes with customers.
  • Adhere to company standards and guidelines when analyzing and providing estimations.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients, keeping a sales-minded attitude, and seek out and build relationships with new clients
  • CRM entry to keep detailed records of all quotations.
  • Balance multiple enquiries/ quotations at once, ensuring each reaches the client by the deadline required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge Microsoft office package (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • researching materials, equipment, transport and labour costs
  • collecting quotes from materials suppliers and sub-contractors
  • helping plan job timescales
  • assessing the levels of risk on a project
  • preparing and submitting quotations and cost summaries for work
  • helping with bids for new contracts and supporting buying activities
  • monitoring the stages of a project to make sure costs are kept in line with forecasts
