NRL are currently recruiting for a Fabricator/Welder to work on a project in Peterhead.
This is a contract position for 6 months which could lead to permanent work for the right candidate.
Time served coded welder GTAW & MMA qualified to ASME IX 6G in carbon steel & stainless steel. Must hold a recognised welding Apprenticeship to N/SVQ Level 3 as a minimum. Would be advantageous if qualified or has experience in welding Cr-Mo grade11 & Cr-Mo grade12 (P11 / P22)
Experience using a variety of welding equipment, ability to read drawings and attention to detail. The client should have good communication skills
Working as part of a maintenance team on pressure part repairs, replacing valves and pipework with steel work modifications, the successful candidate must be willing to carry out small fabrication works.
