Description

NRL are looking to recruit Food Service Assistants to undertake the duties for one of our major clients based at Heysham 1 Power Station.


Ideal candidates will be expected to carry out all catering and food service duties, ensuring correct standards are maintained throughout the canteen and kitchen areas. To be successful in this role previous experience of working in a catering or food service role is desirable but not essential.


The right applicant will be able to demonstrate good communication skills and be able to work on own initiative and within a team environment.


Rates of pay for this role range from £9.00 to £18.00 an hour.


Main responsibilities

The successful candidates will carry out various duties which include the following:

-       Serving the food
-       Working on the tills
-       Keeping the canteen areas clean and tidy
-       Supporting with basic food preparation
-       Restocking shelves and vending machines
