NRL are currently looking to recruit a Human Factors Lead to provide oversight and direction within Major Infrastructure Projects at Devonport Royal Dockyard. The role will be split between remote and site working (depending on project requirements) and will be on a contract basis – Inside IR35.

Responsibilities

  • Provision of functional support and facilitate effective and efficient compliance by MIP projects with extant HF policy and arrangements.

  • Providing professional Human Factors advice, direction and support to managers, employees and contractors to ensure compliance with company legislation

  • Supporting the design and safety teams with review of documentation and support to the technical governance process.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters STEM Degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics or Applied Psychology.

  • A strong understanding on Human Factors policy, legislation and system engineering approaches.

  • Previous experience delivering HF management in the UK nuclear industry or complex infrastructure projects.
