Immigration Specialist

About the Role:
NRL are looking for an Immigration Specialist to work for one of our leading clients based in the Engineering sector. This is a fast-paced role which requires great attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines. Within the role of Immigration Specialist, day to day duties involve the following:
- Processing Visas
- Assisting with workers going across boarders
- Ad hoc admin duties
- Supporting colleagues with additional work during busy periods
- Handling sensitive information in line with GDPR
- Audit employee work permits and compliance documents
This is a 1 year, remote working contract which requires working 37.5 hours a week, Monday – Friday. Although this is a 1 year contract, there is the potential for a contract extension based off good performance.
Experience and requirements:
To be successful in this role the client requires someone who has the following experience:
- Immigration or HR experience
- A degree or equivalent in relevant field
- Awareness of current Immigration procedures and legislation are desirable
- Knowledge of Microsoft Packages
- A second language is desirable
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- A high level of customer service
- Ability to multitask
- To be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own
- Able to keep up to date with changing immigration regulations
