In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll act as the main on-site contact, supporting communication, coordination, and smooth project delivery. You’ll lead site-based teams, ensure safety and compliance at every step, and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to keep projects running to plan.

This is an excellent opportunity for a well-organised, technically skilled professional who thrives in a hands-on leadership role. Please note this is a field-based role so you will be required to be on the road Monday to Friday and your base location will be Knowsley, Liverpool so must live within a commutable distance.

What you’ll bring

  • CompEx Modules EX01–04 or IECEx CoPC Modules EX001–08
  • City & Guilds 2391 / 2391-52 / 2394 & 2395 Inspection and Testing
  • CCSNG/JIB or equivalent Safety Passport
  • Proven experience installing IECEx/ATEX-rated equipment (motors, control stations, junction boxes, lighting, etc.)
  • Skilled in installing metal trunking, conduit, tray, SWA cables, glands, and LV distribution systems
  • Strong understanding of schematic, loop, P&ID, and zone drawings, with good fault-finding ability
  • IT literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office
  • Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, sometimes demanding site work
What’s in it for you We believe in looking after our people and providing everything you need to thrive in your role:
  • 25 days holiday plus statutory days (option to buy 5 extra)
  • Pension contributions
  • Life assurance (up to 4x salary)
