About the Role;
Based remotely you will support and advise on a broad variety of high-quality legal work across the business, including transport, facilities management, and consulting services.
The main responsibilities/duties of the role;
- Providing strategic legal advice and support to the business, developing strong working relationships at all levels;
- Reviewing, drafting and amending a range of commercial, outsourcing, construction and/or professional services contracts (including standard forms such as NEC and JCT), together with associated collateral warranties and parent company guarantees.
- Supporting all phases of the business: from tender submission through to contract award, mobilisation and delivery including (i) fixed price, cost reimbursable and target cost contracts and (ii) drafting and negotiating supply chain contracts;
- Advising on confidentiality agreements, letters of intent, bidding agreements and both contractual and incorporated JVs; and
- Liaising with external law firms and managing their work and costs.
What you need
You will be a UK qualified solicitor, 4-6 years PQE. Previous experience of work within the infrastructure sector would be advantageous, as would exposure to IP/IT and/or finance work.
