A multi-award-winning building services contractor has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Project Manager to join their business in the North West of England
Responsibilities:
- To assist in the preparation of project briefs, procurement, project implementation, contract administration, technical and operational commissioning
- Provide regular management reports on progress, cost, project issues, risk management, mitigation measures and resolution
- Administer construction and other contracts, procure and manage external consultants and contractors assisting in the delivery of projects
- Manage all contract documentation, project finances, expenditure and change control monitoring
- To ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety Legislation and audit projects regularly
- Higher national qualification in a Mechanical building services or related discipline as a minimum
- Demonstrate experience of managing the mechanical building services discipline on construction projects on all RIBA stages of work from inception to completion
- Experience managing mechanical elements of projects up to £5milion
- Worked within the healthcare sector preferable but not essential
- An in-depth technical knowledge and understanding of building construction
- Worked in a live estates environment/setting would be advantageous but not essential
- Must re-side in the North West of England
