I am currently looking to recruit a Package Manager and an Assistant Area Project Manager for complex nuclear projects working out of Birchwood, Warrington. The Package Manager will operate and manage a specific package of work for a Sellafield decommissioning project, The Assistant Area Project Manager will assist the Area Project Manager in overseeing and managing multiple packages of work. Both roles will be on an initial 12 month contract basis inside IR35.

Responsibilities

PM
  • Coordinating the delivery of multi- discipline work package(s) throughout the project such as engineering design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities
  • Assuming ‘cradle to the grave’ responsibilities for a work package
  • Leading the package team to ensure all key milestones are met in accordance with timescale, budget and quality
AAPM
  • Assisting the team managing the delivery of multi discipline work packages throughout the project such as engineering design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities
  • Primary lead and support for the area teams ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Ensuring all key milestones are met in accordance with timescale, budget and quality
  • Assuming ‘cradle to the grave’ responsibilities for any allocated area work packages
Requirements

PM
  • Experience managing packages of work on EPCC projects or similar
  • Previous experience working on NEC3 Projects
  • Experience of delivery of M&E installations
  • Holds HNC or eqv.
AAPM
  • Experience managing packages of work on EPCC projects in a highly regulated industry
  • Previous experience working on NEC3 Projects
  • Experience managing CS&A, Mechanical and EC&I Installation Projects
  • Preferable holds Degree in Project Management / Engineering discipline with a strong track record in project controls/delivery
