A top client is seeking to recruit 2 x Piping Draughtsmen - Grangemouth

The position is a long term contract, min 12 months
About the role:
  • Carry out site surveys on Corrosion Loop lines
  • Create AutoCAD Corrosion Loop Isometric’s
  • To own and develop site drawing format and standards
  • Source of expertise for CAD
  • Verification of P&ID’s / Line List / Piping Isometrics & Corrosion Loop Isometric.
  • Carry out site surveys on up to 25 Units / Systems
  • Draught up to 200 Corrosion Loop Isometric in AutoCAD
  • Upload into Documentation System (Alfresco)
What you will need:
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to frequent Project changes
  • Accuracy and effectiveness in electronic drafting
  • Perform drawing and technology research
  • Ensure all Master/Critical drawings are formatted, layered and created in line with company and international standards
  • Good understanding of Process & Instrumentation drawings / Line lists & Piping Isometric or Corrosion Isometric’s
  • Site surveys to develop Corrosion Loop Isometric’s
  • Create & Update new/existing Corrosion loop Isometric Drawings
  • Interacting with Asset Care Engineers / Process Engineer & Integrity team.
  • As required re-layout master drawings to ensure legibility
  • Experience working with Corrosion Loop Lines
  • Lead maintenance and development of CAD environment for site
  • Lead development of company standards for drawings
  • Auto CAD expert, MS Visio expert, Alfresco
  • Support delivery of estimates for and planning drawing work
  • ONC/HNC qualified or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  • Auto CAD user and completed an accredited course
  • A number of years’ experience in a similar role
  • High level of IT skills.
  • Highly organised in handling large amounts of drawings and associated data
  • Strong communication skills essential.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently with minimal oversight
