Planner / Planning Engineer 
Location - British Columbia, Vancouver
Job description:
• Plan and schedule production’s level three and four activities according to IMS schedule.
• Control and update project schedule, budget, and risk management documentation.
• Track, control and communicate any scope changes impacting schedule, budget, or design
• Create and follow up PRs, ECNs and ECRs on Aras.
• Follow up and communicate PRs, ECNs and ECRs assigned to engineering.
• Prepare and maintain Weekly Progress Report (WPR) and monthly finance report to client.
• Prepare corporate earn value, cash flow, schedule progress and forecast reports.
• Track all deliverables via Master Requirement Index (MRI).
• Create Vendor Furnish information (VFI’s) according to drawings and engineering specifications.
• Upload VFI, drawings and documents to SharePoint and ARAS portal.
• Maintain and follow up engineering action tracker list.
• Maintain records and create transmittals for all project related deliverables.
• Maintain and record project weekly timesheet data.
Person specification:
Must have held a similar planning role
Shipbuilding experience or architectural experience preferred or both
Ideally Primavera P6 if not similar as training can be given
Computer literate
Must live in the region
