Summary

We're looking for Process Engineers in Ireland who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including state of the art pharma and biotech facilities.

You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.  Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will establish process design basis, develop process options and optimizations of selected design, and calculate and organize data for process flow sheets.  Your role keeps our company connected and we’ll support you with what you need to be successful.

Responsibilities

  • Independently applies advanced engineering techniques and analysis within the discipline
  • Develops designs that require innovation and ingenuity
  • Work performed with minimal supervision; has considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. 
  • Participates in the design of a process unit, including establishing process design basis, development of process options and optimization of selected design.
  • Implements, modifies, and maintains chemical processes
  • Calculates and organizes data for process flow sheets including instrumentation and control considerations:
  • Models processes and units operations
  • Ensures proper sequence of operation
  • Prepares specifications and operating instructions for processing equipment
  • Develops process flow diagram to define heat and material balance
  • Develops process specifications, e.g. distillation columns, pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and fired heaters
  • Participates in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects
  • Directs activities to ensure that construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements
  • Primary degree in Chemical Engineering
  • At least 6 years of experience working on pharma/biotech projects

Ideally, you’ll also have:
  • Aseptic Fill/Finish
  • Chartered or working towards Chartership.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
  • Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
  • Passion for Engineering and construction
