NRL’s client is looking to recruit a Project Controls Manager to join them on a staff basis in Coulport. 

About the role: 

  • Oversee the development of the project scope into an actionable project control plan to facilitate the successful delivery of projects. Support project delivery within pre-defined financial and commercial management objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies and associated process to organise and maintain best practice integration between Scheduling, Cost Control and Risk Management Functions ensuring that any activity is carefully planned and controlled in terms of time, budget and scope of work.
  • Ensure all Cost related inputs are reliable and provided in a timely manner to support the Performance Measurement Update (PMU) process.
  • Manage all Governance; complying with national laws/regulations as well as adhering to company-wide & functional BOPs while identifying potential performance gaps in order to act in line with standardised working practices and ensure best practice.
  • Participate in, and be able to lead on, project reviews/lessons learned in order to identify continuous improvement opportunities and modify work practices.
  • Utilise an extensive internal and external relationship network of key stakeholders in order to influence customer decision making.



What you will need?

  • Are Degree qualified in Project Management, Business Management or related subject.
  • Can demonstrate a track record in the development, application and integration of Business Operating Procedures  and Process.
  • Have a well-developed expertise in the application of project management principles standards and practices.
  • Have an expert knowledge and application of data capture, collation,cost, quality, analysis and performance reporting (Earned Value).
  • Possess an strong understanding of major high value high profile Engineering and Construction Projects gained in industries such as Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Infrastructure or Defence.
