Role Responsibilities:
- Delivery of project management and contract administration through the project life cycle
- Development and management of the project schedule and roles and responsibilities of project team members
- Leading the project team; from appointments to roles, direction of duties and development of individuals to meet project requirements.
- Communicating and coordinating with, and otherwise managing, clients, third parties and stakeholders.
- Delivering projects within business management processes and procedures to ISO 9001.
- Development of and delivery to a detailed project budget, including Earned Value reporting.
- Requirements, risk and change management of the project from inception through to completion
- Management of procurement and subcontracts.
- Monitoring and reporting performance against programme, quality and financial target
- Qualified or demonstrably experienced to IPMA Level D or higher.
- Experience of working in and leading multi-disciplinary teams in engineering or software project environments.
- Experience in delivering complex projects safely, on time, and on budget in regulated environments that are constrained operationally
- Experience of administering NEC3 contracts, including issue and change control, monitoring progress against plan and managing the project budget.
- Strong client facing and customer service skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team in a positive and collaborative manner.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to speak confidently and courteously with clients and colleagues.
- Knowledgeable of producing Risk Assessments and using Risk Analysis tools.
- Knowledge and experience in using Earned Value Management reporting tools.
- IT skills including MS Office suite, MS Project / Primavera 6
