Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for Project and Contract management on Sizewell B Nuclear Power Station. They must have the experience and competencies to lead & motivate the Client’s operatives in addition to sub-contractor operatives across the site.
They will be required to correspond directly with EDF management teams and hold the responsibility for all the Client’s project activities through a formal planning process utilising the work management system.
Responsibilities also encompass ensuring that all third-party contractors who carry out work on the site associated with Project work do so in a safe and professional manner and abide by the relevant Company procedures and site-specific procedures where applicable.
Technical
Expected to attain Authorised Level under the Safety Rules System of operation and hold safety documents for work to be carried out on isolated electrical or mechanical systems on station.
Technically qualified in an engineering discipline.
Experience with a record of delivery in a supervisory role with project team and sub-contractors.
Effective and decisive organisational skills and an ability to lead a team and communicate across all levels working within performance management systems.
Experience of developing operational teams, focused on service delivery.
Sound understanding of HSE and QA procedures.
Experience of surveying and pricing project works.
Understanding of finances and working to budget constraints.
IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft applications and other information management systems.
Qualifications
Minimum of HNC, or equivalent in engineering.

Appropriate competent experience to manage projects (verified at time of interview)
