NRL are working with a leading engineering and inspection client who now require a QA/QC Welding Engineer
You will be responsible for auditing maintenance work related to the pressure envelope; primarily welding and coatings. You will be able to demonstrate
your contractor management experience as well as knowledge and experience of whole Welding Inspection process – including WPS / WIP.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
✅ Background in welding, with knowledge of welding codes, NDT techniques, engineering materials,
Quality Control and fabrication.
✅ Knowledge and experience of whole Welding Inspection process – including WPS / WIP
✅ Good contractor management experience, demonstrable with examples.
QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING
✅ Time-served apprentice or hold ONC or equivalent and ideally be CSWIP certified. NACE certification
is advantageous.
✅HNC and welding experience may be considered, providing further on the job training for the role.
