NRL are looking to recruit a Safety Case Manager to join the team of an internationally recognised aerospace, defence, and security company.
The role will be based at the Devonport site and is initially a 12-month contract.
About the role:
Provide technical oversight of and provision of SQEP resource for development of the 10 Dock Safety Case to the required scope, quality, schedule, and cost, providing an overall facility capability for the required submarine production activities
Responsible for managing the technical aspects of the safety engineering packages from identification of the need, through to handover
To efficiently manage allocated resources
What you will need:
A degree in an appropriate engineering discipline
Chartered Engineer, registered with Engineering Council
Significant experience in the technical management of large scale and complex nuclear safety case development throughout the design life-cycle
Experience of safety case development
Sound understanding of engineering design and safety practice as relevant to discipline, post and project requirements
Sound project specification, planning, project management and budgeting experience
