What you will need:
- At least 5 years+ experience within Safety Case Engineering.
- Industry Background in Nuclear, Defence or MOD is preferred
- Fully adverse with the principles of Safety Cases and Nuclear Engineering.
- Safety Case reviews
- Knowledge of Post Operational Clean Out (POCO)
- Define & review of POCO sequences and tasks
- Provide support through the safety case approval processes
- Assist in the implementation & development of “Improvement Plans”
- To contribute to a positive team working environment with a questioning attitude to safety case matters. Be highly proactive, adaptable with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Must be a natural driven forward thinking professional with an ability to problem solve to ensure robust safety deliveries are achieved.
- Desired;
- Previous experience of Sellafield and the Long Term periodic Review Period would be beneficial (but not essential).
- Knowledge of the Safety Case Index.
- SC Security Clearance (if no clearance held must be will to go through clearance process)
