Procurement Specialist/Senior Buyer

An internationally recognised aerospace, defence, and security company are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Specialist to join their team on a remote basis with some face-to-face time when required.

About the role:

  • The role primarily involves the management of a Training Assured Supply Chain to external customers.

  • To guide internal stakeholders to the assured suppliers for their training requirements.

  • Responsibility for purchasing that has been undertaken by the Managed Service Centre.

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers to support the ongoing requirements of the business

  • To provide training which ensures the maximisation of revenue growth



What you will need:

  • Experience of operational procurement in a high volume/low value environment

  • Full Driving Licence (Desirable)

  • HNC or HND level qualification in related business discipline (Desirable)

  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal

  • Experience utilising complex supply chains to meet contractual requirement and drive maximum value

  • Experience of using ERP systems (Specifically Navision)
