This is a hybrid role, and the contract is initially for 12-months.
About the role:
- Senior PDMS Piping Designer will support the Lead Piping Engineer
- Responsible for the design of process pipework within the PDMS model which includes, but is not limited to, routing, supporting, spooling and clash checking. Production and checking of 2D deliverables using PDMS draft, which will include General Arrangements, Fabrication Isometrics and Pipe Supports
- Minimum ONC/HNC Mechanical Engineering
- Working within a Joint Venture environment
- Nuclear experience in a Senior PDMS Piping Designer role
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in piping design using PDMS Design and Draft functions
- Proficient in the comprehension and application of International Codes, particularly Piped Systems to ASME B31.3
- Able to acquire BPSS status
