NRL are currently recruiting for a Senior/Principal Civil Structural Engineer to manage the delivery of civil and structural engineering work packages for Devonport Dockyard. This position will be on an initial contract basis with a rate depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Develop, lead and manage technical design packages.
Ensure that design documentation covers the scope of operations and is produced to agreed standards, schedule and budget.
Plan for effective Project implementation, identifying key factors and leading the technical planning process.
Ensuring effective Quality Management Arrangements.
Requirements
Degree in appropriate engineering discipline
Chartered Engineer (Preferred)
Knowledge of architectural design of industrial buildings.
Experience in the design and substantiation of heavy civil engineering and building structures
Nuclear Introductory Course or eqv nuclear or marine system knowledge
