NRL are currently recruiting for a Site Administrator on an initial 8 month contract for one of our large clients who is a global market leader in energy from waste (EfW) and renewable gas based in Newhurst Leicestershire.

About the role:
  • The primary role is to act as assistant to the site manager and to ensure the site welfare compound is maintained to a high standard
  • Acts as office administrator for the site including office supplies, filing, organisation of travel, recording and storing of documentation
  • Provides full administrative support to the Site Manager
  • Develops and co-ordinates business review reports in conjunction with Site Manager
  • Is responsible for the safety and HSE performance of all personnel under their control, and for stopping work where this might be compromised
  • Is involved in setup and dismantling of site infrastructure and managing site infrastructure in a safe and suitable condition during project duration
  • Co-ordinates regular maintenance and repair works of site infrastructure (e.g. temporary construction power, printer, etc.) with contractors and staff on site
  • Creates operational procedures (access regulations, traffic regulations, etc.) in relation to site infrastructure
  • Co-ordinates waste management on site and ensures it is carried out in accordance with Site Waste Management Plan requirements
  • Organises all site signage to the agreed corporate standard inclusive alternative language
  • Co-ordinates works executed by suppliers and sub-contractors or other business partners, who are within the scope
  • Keeps the Site Manager informed of all site related activities
What you will need:
  • Basic Diploma in Office Administration or equivalent
  • Knowledge of relevant HSEQ legal and management system requirements
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite applications
  • Valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC), Safepass (ROI), CSCS or CCNSG card or equivalent would be an advantage
