NRL are looking to speak with a Site Manager for a permanent position with a Tier 1 contractor in Ireland. This contractor is one of Ireland’s largest building and Civils companies with projects in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Kildare.

 

Role Responsibilities:
  • Supervision of the construction on site
  • Ability to deliver project on time and to perfection
  • Produce accurate, consistent and professional records, reports and general information
  • Supervision of the construction on site
  • Maintaining site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
  • Support the project manager in delivering the project to the highest of quality & completed on time, within the budget
  • To carry out the role of company representation on site and to interface between the company and client
  • Manage and motivate site teams
  • Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site
  • Ensure work is carried out to the highest of standards
  • Conduct Risk Assessments
  • Ensure all processes are being adhered to on a project by project basis
  • Ensuring that end product meets client’s expectation in relation to build and finish
  • Reporting to the Contracts Manager
  • All Health & Safety and other regulatory matters
 

Role Requirements:
  • Hold relevant Construction, Engineering or Trades qualification
  • Extensive main contracting background is essential
  • Previous experience working on a large-scale construction project.
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Self-motivated and hard worker
  • Strong team building skills
  • Analytical and decision-making skills
  • Technical and practical knowledge of the building industry important
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
