About the Role:
On belhalf of our client, NRL is seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong mechanical and commercial bias to oversee the fit-out and ventalation/airconditioning packages of a new office block based in Wigan. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to work with a respected organisation on a well-structured, high-quality project.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain efficient workflow and quality standards.
  • Coordinate mechanical and commercial aspects of the fit-out process.
  • Monitor progress, manage site documentation, and report regularly to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within mechanical or commercial fit-out projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of mechanical building services and general construction.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Up-to-date site management certifications (SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid, etc.).
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades effectively.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
