NRL’s manufacturing client based in Grangemouth is looking to recruit a Technical Administrator for an ongoing contract.

About the role:

Provide support to the Risk Based Inspection (RBI) team to implement inspection software and Corrosion Loop (CLP) Improvement project aiming to ensure all isometrics are up-to-date and correct.

**Key Accountabilities:**

- Gap Analysis between line lists, P&IDs and Inspection Isometrics, Checking that all lines on a P&ID are on the inspection isometrics. Identify any lines missing from the isometrics or detail incorrect.
- Support Draughtsperson with locating inspection isometrics in Alfresco (document management system)
- Liaise with process engineers for queries identified as part of gap analysis
- Set up and manage users on inspection software
- Management and updates of deadleg registers

**RBI**

- Download drawings and create NII Sketch for assessments from template
- Set up and manage users in Inspection software
- Download data from Alfresco and/or Maximo as needed for population in the new software
- Where NDT reports are identified as missing from our document management system, liaise with inspectors to source and update RBI

**Key Skills and Experience:**

**Required**

- Capable of identifying issues in the documentation systems and in developing appropriate solutions for issues
- Good networking skills within engineering community to facilitate delivery of accountabilities. The post holder will be expected to deal with around 60 engineers
- Ability to transfer administrative skills into different admin roles during periods of significant plant outage (eg QA support to TARs)
- good organisational and planning skills with an ability to meet deadlines
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and database management
- Numerate, well organised and comfortable in working with large amounts of data
- Post owner should be expected to undertake building fire wardens role

**Desirable**

The following would be an advantage but not essential, training to be provided

- Internal software skills such as Alfresco and Maximo are required
- Autocad Lite used for searching for information on drawings efficiently
- Antea Inspection software
- Technical Clerk experience
