About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and organised Technical Administrator to join the Engineering and Projects team on a temporary basis. This is a vital supporting role working closely with the Engineering, Maintenance, and Project departments at a busy industrial facility. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth operation of critical systems and processes during a key period of activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Take accurate minutes for key meetings including Engineering, Outage and HSE meetings.
- Track weekly Management of Change and Technical Incident Reports.
- Collate and manage Hand Arm Vibration (HAVs) data for HSE reporting.
- Maintain LOLER inspection schedules and results.
- Update PSSR inspection register, including using ‘e-report’ systems for tracking.
- Manage NDT requests and associated database.
- Raise and amend Purchase and Material Requisitions using IFS.
- Create and update Work Order Cards (WOCs) and track Emergent Works (EWQRs).
- Support project documentation including IIFs, FIDs, specifications and DocuSign tasks.
- Manage document scanning, uploading and organisation across network drives and SharePoint.
- Search and retrieve information from drawing and document registers.
- Provide general administrative support as required by the Engineering and Project teams.
- Strong administrative experience, preferably in a fast-paced technical or industrial environment
- Ability to take accurate minutes for key meetings including Engineering, Outage and HSE meetings.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive
- Experience with IFS or SAP systems
- Familiarity with document control processes or technical project environments
You’ll be expected to:
- Follow company safety standards and procedures
- Properly use PPE and report any H&S concerns
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all information security protocols
This is a temporary position with an initial term of 6–12 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop experience within a technical or engineering-based environment.v
