NRL are on the lookout for a Technical Assistant for a 12 month contract, working in Warrington. This has a hybrid working arrangement. 

Duties:
  • Build Information Packs with correct documents & drawings and ensure key deliverables are included.
  • Obtain document signatures within the time period set.
  • Resolve documentation Queries.
  • Track progress of all project documents.
  • Check documents / drawings for correct markings, revs.
  • Project Documentation Management supplier Doc Control teams.
  • Distribute documents as requested and update master transmittal spreadsheet.
  • Maintain the project Master Record Index and drawing schedule.
  • First point of contact with suppliers / contractors for documentation requests.
  • General duties helping Design & Engineering team members.
  • Manage holiday charts & travel charts & general admin duties.
  • Develop and manage trackers.
  • Collate, monitor & trending performance data.
  • Support the project through audits and any other reviews.
  • Attend design & progress meetings and Design Reviews, taking technical meeting minutes, capturing key decisions and actions where required.
  • Develop and populate Handover Files.
  • Develop Master Records Index and Drawing Schedule database / tracker as required for key documentation & monitor the status of key documents against contract / key deliverables.
  • Chase individuals for status reports on the document, where it is in the cycle and ensuring individual actions are closed out
  • Administer the project change control process
  • Administer the project Technical Query (TQ) process
Qualifications/Experience:
  • Microsoft office suite of programmes, specifically a proficient and experienced user of Excel.
  • Data entry, reporting, production of data and administration of project systems.
