NRL are recruiting for a Technical Director/Associate (ICT Consultancy), to work on a permanent basis with one of our clients in Bicester, an expanding M&E consultancy.

This person will work closely with the ICT Director to develop and maintain client relationships both inside the Engineering group, external customers and key business partners.

This is a senior position with significant growth potential in a dynamic and expanding global business.


 Role Responsibilities:
  • ICT infrastructure consulting, design, and technical project management
  • Support ICT delivery capability in strategic consulting
  • To support sustainable expansion of the ICT business, primarily with the development of core design & site ICT engineering services and complimentary service lines, in particular:
    • Strategic Critical Facilities/Data Centre consulting for end user clients
    • Cloud readiness and Cloud strategy consulting, for example, Enterprise Clients
    • Critical Facilities/Data Centre ICT operational performance consulting
    • ICT infrastructure and applications migration planning, management, and technical coordination

  • Engineering degree in appropriate ICT infrastructure engineering discipline
  • Experience in ICT infrastructure, building ICT fit-out migration and occupation
  • Relevant past employment examples:
    • IT/Multi-disciplinary consulting firm
    • ICT consultancy and project management
    • Construction project management (with a technology emphasis)
    • Network technology vendor/manufacturer
    • Network systems integration contractor
    • Ideally the candidate will have a technical understanding of the following
      • Critical Facilities/Data Centre Design
      • Campus Networks
      • LAN Ethernet Switching
      • Wi-Fi Network Communications
      • Structured Cabling Systems
      • Fibre Optic Networks
      • Data Cabling Containment Systems
      • Telecommunication Network Infrastructure and Services
