Role Responsibilities:
- The Test Manager is responsible for managing the testing and acceptance into service of all new digital services. This will include defining the acceptance criteria with the SMEs of any new applications and services, managing the testing process and assuring the quality of test life cycle.
- Accountable for assuring all services prior to being released into operations.
- Authorised to ensure all fixes and measures are in place to ensure a fit for purpose delivery.
- Will be certified as a Test Manager or have similar demonstrable experience.
- Will have experience of testing applications deployed to the Cloud environment.
- Will have managed the Test capability for medium to large organisation before.
- Will be used to working as part of a matrix team.
- Experience of working with multiple delivery teams simultaneously.
- Can demonstrate a strong understanding of the test lifecycle and the critical elements of that which assure the quality business critical releases.
- Team player with the ability to work closely with clients, suppliers and peers and within dispersed project teams
- Development of test strategies.
- Development of test plans.
- Execution of test plans in line with the strategy.
- Demonstrates collaborative behaviours and is customer oriented.
- Knowledge of Azure and experience of testing applications deployed to Azure clouds, a distinct advantage.
- Knowledge of engineering, construction and associated tool sets a distinct advantage
