Nrl are currently recruiting for a Weighbridge Administrator for a contract role until December 2022.

Day to Day:
Mon-Fri 9:30am - 2:30pm

  • Dispatch of outgoing products, weighing of delivery vehicles and issue of delivery documentation.
  • Receipt of incoming products, e.g raw materials.
  • Operation of weighbridges and systems.
  • Ensure drivers entering site and qualified and equipped to do so and are aware of company rules.
  • Ensure weighbridge operations meet Trading Standards requirements relating to the Weights and Measures Act.
  • Work in a safe manner, adhering to health and safety standards taking responsibility for the Near Hit process and team briefing roll out.
  • Ensure work carried out is to the highest level of accuracy.
  • Support CRH vehicle check compliance and monthly target is achieved.
  • Complete weekly housekeeping checks.
  • Provide cover for Road Distribution planner role.
  • Compete required month end tasks.
 
Results Required
  • Recording of goods received and correct internal destination direction.
  • Customer satisfaction standards maintained.
  • All site entry conditions are met.
  • Compliance with current legislation.
  • Documentation and data entry are accurately recorded.

KEY COMPETENCIES (level required to complete the role satisfactorily)
  • Understanding in weighbridge operations.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications.
  • Good level of IT application skills.
  • An empathetic style capable with dealing with people in a variety of roles and levels of seniority.
  • Good understanding of site specific SHE procedures and safe working practices.
  • Carry out Face to Face conversations record any near hits through Safety-on-line closing out actions in a timely manner.
  • To be confident in dealing with hauliers & work allocation.
  • To be able to demonstrate process for roll out of tool box talks in accordance of business requirements.
  • Basic report writing.

QUALIFICATIONS     
  • Good level of education.
  • NVQ in Weighbridge Operations.
 
EXPERIENCE
Experience in goods vehicle/weighbridge operations would be beneficial but not essential as full training and support will be provided.
