Birmingham
Birmingham is a metropolitan city located in the centre of the West Midlands and is the 2nd largest City in the United Kingdom. Birmingham has an inner-city population of around 1.1 million people and has more canals than Venice. Birmingham is influential in both Art and Music, being home to the internationally acclaimed Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, The Royal Ballet and the Birmingham Repertory Theatre.
Birmingham is one of the fastest growing cities in the world and was host to one of the best Commonwealth Games in 2022. This wide array of industry expertise makes Birmingham a very attractive place to work and has attracted many large businesses such as HSBC to open large offices in the city centre.
The main railway station is Birmingham New Street and is a great transport link to many locations including London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Wigan and Manchester. Birmingham is served by several of the major motorways, M5, M6, M40 and the M42 making it very accessible for tourists and commuters alike.
