Cumbria
Cumbria is a county in North West England. Cumbria is the third largest county in England by size, consisting of six districts: Allerdale, Barrow-in-Furness, Carlisle, Copeland, Eden and South Lakeland. In 2019 Cumbria had a population of around half a million people. Cumbria is home to the Lake District National Park and many market towns.
Cumbria can be easily accessed from Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle-upon-tyne, Glasgow and Edinburgh, all under 2 hours drive away. Cumbria is home to some of the UK's largest engineering and defence projects including shipbuilding projects and Sellafield power plant.
