Devonport
Devonport is a district of Plymouth in the English county of Devon. Devonport is a regenerating neighbourhood of shipyards and modern housing developments. Devonport has a trail that links the Naval Heritage Centre to Devonport Guildhall.
Home to HMNB Devonport Dockyard, the military city is the principal nuclear repair and refuelling facility for the Royal Navy and the largest naval base in Europe. The naval base as support the Royal Navy since 1691, and covers four miles of waterfront, with 5 dry docks. Defence sector expertise includes submarines and naval vessels.
