Grimsby is a city and port in Lincolnshire, England. It is situated on the South bank of the Humber Estuary, approximately 60 miles east of Liverpool and 10 miles north-east of Lincoln. The population of Grimsby is around 85,000 people. Grimsby has plenty of live music events at The Sands, comedy and theatre at the Grimsby Auditorium, a Sports Centre and plenty of pubs and restaurants.
The engineering industry in Grimsby has grown a great deal since the birth of the industrial revolution. In fact, this area boasts a great range of industries including heavy engineering and offshore wind farms.

The nearest train station is Grimsby railway station which provides local services between Cleethorpes and Louth. Grimsby also has its own airport where flights operate to domestic destinations.
