Helensburgh
Helensburgh is on the northern side of the Firth of Clyde with a population of around 13,500 it's just 40 minutes from Glasgow.
The engineering sector in Helensburgh is diverse, with companies specialising in everything from manufacturing and shipbuilding, through to oil and gas exploration. Engineering students are central to Helensburgh's success, as it provides an excellent training ground for many of Scotland's most innovative graduates.
Helensburgh is well connected with other areas of Scotland and the world. There are regular trains, buses and taxis serving Helensburgh, giving easy access to Glasgow and the rest of Scotland. The town also has its own small harbour that is used by boats regularly travelling out to Loch Lomond.
