Ince-in-Makerfield is a village in the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan, Greater Manchester, England. Historically a part of Lancashire. It is located in the south of the borough, between Leigh, Atherton and Wigan, on the west bank of the River Douglas and has a population of about 16,000 people.
