Lochgelly
Lochgelly is a town in Fife, Scotland with a population of around 8,000 people. It is approximately 20 kilometers west of Edinburgh on the A92 road and has many beautiful stretches for walking as well as theatres, restaurants and cafes.
The engineering sector in Lochgelly is very active and there are a lot of companies working on smaller research projects, as well as larger scale projects. It's very diverse, covering work from the design stage through to the prototyping stage. There are many manufacturing opportunities too with suppliers of everything from metal products to components for control systems.
Lochgelly is well connected by road, rail and bus. The M90 motorway runs through the town making it easily accessible from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth. There is a train station in the centre of town offering connections to Edinburgh, Glasgow and other towns. Buses serve all surrounding areas.
