West Kilbride
West Kilbride is a village in North Ayrshire, Scotland with a population of around 5,000. It is situated immediately west of the Eglinton Country Park, on the eastern shores of Irvine Bay. West Kilbride is famous for its waterfalls and sandy beach, which attracts many visitors all year round.
Engineering is one of the biggest growth sectors in West Kilbride. Over the past 10 years, there has been a significant increase in engineering businesses starting up, many with international operations.
There are a number of bus routes that go through West Kilbride, including one that goes directly into Glasgow City Centre. There are also two train stations within 10 miles of West Kilbride. Trains from either station can take you to major towns or cities such as Stirling, Edinburgh and London Euston.
