About the role:
Key activities the candidate will be expected to undertake are as follows:
- Development of model (liaising with other disciplines, site construction & project engineers) to provide a clash free design
- Consideration of the permanent and temporary cases
- Site/plant visits including the attendance at surveys undertaken by others
- Support production of engineering documents such as Outline Construction Method Statements
- Continual ongoing assurance of the application of CDM and the recording of such
- Experience of designated skill set preferably within the nuclear industry or related transferrable industry.
- Create drawings with relevant plans, sections and details including, but not limited to, General Arrangements and detailed drawings.
- Use of worksets and central models
- Be experienced in multi-discipline projects i.e. working closely with mechanical and architects models
- The candidate will need to work under the direction of the Lead Engineer and manage their own workload as agreed
- The candidate will need to be able to communicate effectively with team members and with the Client
