NRL are looking for an experienced engineer who would like to further develop your experience across a varied portfolio of onshore projects? Petrofac’s Engineering & Consultancy Services (ECS) team in Woking is looking to add to its talented team of civil & structural engineers to support new project awards.
ECS is Petrofac’s centre of excellence for front-end engineering and consultancy and the projects we deliver vary in size, scale and complexity.
About the role:
Develop conceptual arrangements for industrial buildings and structures
Wide skillset with a knowledge of commonly used European and International civil & structural design codes
Good communication is essential, with an excellent standard of written and spoken English, being responsible for verifying technical reports and documents.
Prepare and/or check specifications, design calculations, drawings and MTOs quickly and efficiently
Petrofac’s processes and procedures are key to efficient delivery - ensure all outputs are compliant with our inhouse ISO accredited quality, project control, safety and integrity procedures
Oversee, manage and supervise work of others including workshare offices and subcontractors
Plan work packages reporting progress and forecasting

Structural assessment and appraisal
Foundation design
Blast design

Roads, drainage and infrastructure design
Deliverables:
Services should be provided to produce the following deliverables where required as part of project specific works, specific clients and durations will be called off as part of the purchase order.
Key deliverables to include:
· Performing roles as the Lead Engineer on concept and FEED design projects
· Producing clear and concise consultancy and technical reports
· Preparing and/or checking specifications, design calculations, drawings and MTOs quickly and efficiently
· Petrofac’s processes and procedures are key to efficient delivery of projects and you will ensure all outputs are compliant with our ISO accredited quality, project control, safety and integrity procedures
· Plan work packages, reporting progress and forecasting
