NRL are proud to be supporting a global client on an extremely high profile project that is underway, this project will support the offshore renewable sector for many years to come.

This role is 3/4 days per week (initially)

The project is the largest of its type globally.

Our client is looking for a Contract Manager to join their commercial team and support the offshore wind business.

You will...
Supply legal advice on Offshore Wind contracts and support to key business stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, on the interpretation of legislation, industry documentation, specifications, and contracts, to ensure all risks are understood and enable the business to develop and form strategies accordingly.

Draft standard and bespoke legal documentation on complex matters such as agreements, terms and conditions for sub contractors, and formal court / arbitration communications.

Lead when needed the third party discussions with external legal counsel on all manner of legal and contractual elements of an Offshore Wind project contract (typically Balance of Develop our Supplier Contracts based on flow downs from main customer contracts.

Develop our Risk Management system and strategy and implement this throughout the business, and support wider corporate risk management teams globally.

Manage our Project insurance requirements.

Influence project teams, managers, and other individual within the business to ensure goals and the key interests of the business are always met. With critical element of knowing when to escalate risks and issue instructions on behalf of the company.

Support the Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager in contact matters during execution of the contract.

You must have experience within the offshore wind sector or heavy engineering/construction/manufacturing.

Either a Law or Quantity Surveying Degree or equivalent as recognised by a professional body.

Experienced in drafting and interpreting commercial contracts and associated commercial documents.

Knowledge and experience of Balance of Plant and FIDIC contracts.
