Essential Experience:
- Extensive experience in use of Revit or similar CS&A design packages,
- Use of Navisworks to integrate disciplines and undertake clash detection,
- Conversion of 3-D models into 2-D drawings,
- Production of engineering drawings (General Arrangement and Detail),
- A minimum of three years working within a highly regulated industry.
- Capable of working closely and effectively with engineers to deliver compliant design deliverables.
- Able to actively seek input from engineers, specialists, facility and project team members to improve understanding and deliver fit for purpose solutions.
- Be able to present information in forms specifically aimed at a variety of target audiences.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience of any Sellafield or nuclear industry Design.
- BIM / Coordinated Design,
- Crane modification (design and implementation),
- Major plant modification (design and implementation),
- Building change-of-use,
- Production of model-based animations,
- Experience providing guidance to less experienced modellers to develop their capabilities.
- Ability to obtain P1 or P4 Pass
- Ability to obtain SC clearance
- Monitored worker status advantageous but not essential
- Excellent proficiency in use of 3-D modelling software including Revit and Navisworks. Ability to convert 3-D models into 2-D drawings.
- Good working knowledge of SL design management systems (Cimage, Vault, registry process).
- Good proficiency in Microsoft packages is advantageous but not essential (Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook, etc).
