NRL are currently looking to recruit a Design Manager to work for a client of ours working in the nuclear industry on a permanent basis based in London.
Responsibilities:
Define technical requirements and specifications in collaboration with stakeholders
Manage technical aspects of design changes and open points, ensuring compliance with governance processes
Provide technical assurance for end-to-end design and support risk management processes
Coordinate technical interfaces with other parties and ensure compliance with engineering and design processes
Support the Engineering & Technical Project Manager in budget management, schedule updates and contract management
Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to deliver high-quality design solutions
Requirements:
Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
Chartered Engineer (MICE or MIStructE) or working towards chartership
Knowledge of heavy civil engineering structures, external works, and/or design management
Experience in providing technical assistance within delivery teams and working with technical suppliers
Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
